Your guide is Mark Palfreyman, a local Daintree resident who holds a degree in Zoology from the Australian National University in Canberra. Before settling in the Upper Daintree area, Mark spent a number of years living working and guiding in the forests of central America and the Amazon, including a number of years running the premier birdwatching lodge in the tropical Americas, Chan Chich, in north-western Belize.
